Lovely solid silver marriage or wager cup made in Holland c1900 and imported into England by Julius Blackensee and hallmarked in London in 1903.
The bride would drink a cupful of alcohol from the top section then the groom would consume the entire contents of the larger bottom cup both hopefully without spillage, that’s where the wager came in.
