William Sucking Birmingham 1913
Incredibly rare hunting set of figural cocktail sticks made in silver gilt. There is a game (dog for retrieving birds), a horse (used for riding to hounds), a rabbit, a hare, a fox and a game bird. The set is in the original box and was made by William Sucking in Birmingham England in 1913 from solid silver with applied gold plate. The pictures do not do justice to the cast detail and each stick as a clear set of hallmarks but unfortunately my camera couldn’t get good enough photos of them.
