Fabulous pair of Georgian Adam-style candlesticks

Unusual tall pair of solid silver George III Adam style candlesticks. Made in Sheffield in 1787 they are offered in good condition with some minor wear to the beading on one candlestick. They feature their original detachable sconces for less cleaning and original mahogany wooden inserts in the bases.They are a very elegant design with tapering stems and swept bases. They are adorned with ribbons, garlands and medallions in the typical Robert Adam style.
