Superb large pair of cast solid silver pheasants in natural poses. Made by Richard Howson in Sheffield in 1923 and 1925 they are extremely lifelike and have great naturalistic detail. They feature detachable heads and all pieces are fully hallmarked and original. Offered in excellent condition they will look stunning on any table and in any decor.

Male: Height to top of tail 28 cm (11”), length 54 cm (21”), depth 10 cm (4”). Weight 826 grams (26.55 ozs)

Female: Height to top of head 16 cm (6.5”), length 41 cm (16”), depth 8 cm (3”). Weight 620 grams (19.99 ozs)
